How often are exchanges held?

Exchanges are held every month. Registration typically begins between the 15th and 20th the month prior to each exchange. 

What Kind of Books are Shared?

There are no set parameters. Most of the books shared are non-fiction business, leadership and professional development titles. However, we have also exchanged biographies, history titles and novels. Whatever you think will bring value to fellow sports professionals is welcome. 

Do I have to participate every month?

Absolutely not! Some participants exchange every month but there is absolutely no requirement to do so. Jump in and out any time. 

Do I have to sign up separately each month?

Yes, in order to know who is participating each month and with what book, you will have to register for each month’s exchange. If you sign up for updates, you will receive emails when registration opens for each month. 

Do I have to be a current sports business professional?

Not exactly. While we do want participants to be in the general area of sports business (college, pro, agency, etc.), job-seekers and others with experience in the field are welcome. 

What am I responsible for?

You’ll be responsible for mailing the book you will share as well as possibly needing to send one back to its owner (see next question). Beyond that, please take care of books and treat them with respect. Damaged or destroyed books should be replaced. 

Can I get my book back?

Yes. Some participants contribute books to be shared indefinitely, but if you want yours back at any time we can work with whoever has it to get it back to you.
